CEV Euro Beachvolley Championships 2024
The Hague: A Longtime Host for EuroBeachVolley
It comes as no surprise that The Hague is one of the host cities for the CEV EuroBeachVolley 2024, with the (semi-)finals set to take place on the iconic Sportstrand Scheveningen. Since the first European Beach Volleyball Championship in the Netherlands in 2006, The Hague has hosted every edition.

The CEV EuroBeachVolley 2024 will be held from Tuesday, August 13, to Sunday, August 18. This year’s tournament offers an extraordinary opportunity to witness world-class beach volleyball players up close, fresh off their performances at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. It is the fourth time the Netherlands has hosted the championship, following successful editions in 2006, 2012, and 2018.
Host Cities
The 2024 tournament will take place across three Dutch cities: Arnhem, Apeldoorn, and The Hague. Each of these cities has a rich sporting tradition, but The Hague holds a special place in EuroBeachVolley history. The seaside venue at Scheveningen will once again provide a stunning backdrop for the finals, cementing The Hague’s reputation as the beating heart of European beach volleyball.
